Case study template
Case study (before / after) carousel template
A reusable starter, not a finished post. The deck below shows the structure with editable placeholder copy. Swap in your own offer and keep the formula that converts.
What is inside this template
- A 6-slide arc that walks from one client's before state to their after number, the shape proof needs to feel earned instead of braggy
- Editable cover, three tweet-style story cards, a 3-move list card, and a comment-to-DM close, each in X (Twitter) slide style
- Bracketed placeholders for the client name, before pain, turning point, result number, and timeframe so you fill in your real win
- A built-in STORY keyword on the CTA slide that ties the deck to a comment-to-DM flow you can run as-is
How to customize it
Pick the win
Choose one client whose result you can name with a number and a timeframe. A single concrete transformation reads as proof; a vague summary of many clients does not.
Write the before honestly
Replace the bracketed before state with the specific, relatable pain they showed up with. The more familiar it feels to your reader, the harder slide two lands.
Name the one shift and the 3 moves
Fill the turning-point card with the single change you made, then make the list card's three moves the actual steps a stranger could follow. Vague advice here kills the credibility you just built.
Set your real keyword and DM asset
Swap STORY for whatever you want commenters to type, and make sure the full breakdown they get in the DM actually exists. The CTA only works if there is something real on the other side.
Example: the formula filled in
A bookkeeping coach for Shopify store owners opens with: Dana went from drowning in 14 months of unreconciled books to closing each month in two hours, in 6 weeks. The before card shows her spreadsheet chaos before tax season; the turning point is swapping manual entry for one bank-fed workflow. The three moves are a weekly 30-minute reconcile block, a chart of accounts built for ecommerce, and a single owner-pay number tracked every Friday. The result card lands on books closed in under two hours a month, then asks readers to comment STORY for the full setup.
